Upoc is North America's most active mobile community, with more than a million members to date. Because of Upoc's popularity, and the number of messages that our members receive, we are no longer able to provide free SMS message delivery for AT&T customers.

AT&T Wireless now charges 2 cents per Upoc message received. This change took effect March 1, 2004. Administrative and channel messages from Upoc will continue to be free.

We know some AT&T customers will be unhappy about this, but this step is necessary in order for us to continue to provide you with the services you've come to expect from us.

This charge is comparable to charges that customers of every other carrier receive.

We also want to remind customers of other carriers that they will not be charged extra, but will continue to pay for text messages according to their rate plan.
